The very first time you log on to this site you will see this 'Request new password'.  If you do not remember your password from the old OHS site click on the link. A link to reset your password will be sent to the email address you used to access the old site. Be sure to check your SPAM folder for the link. If you have changed your email address from the one you used on the old site you will notify us of your new email address so that we can change it on our server. Once your current email address is setup on the server you can then request a  password reset link to be sent to that address. IMPORTANT: You must use your full name (no abbreviations or 'pet names') If you are a married female we sugggest you use this format: FIRST NAME, MAIDEN NAME, LAST NAME. In this way your classmates will be able to identify you. Once you log on to this site "for the first time" you can go to the “User Menu”  found in the right sidebar and change your password by doing the following:   1. Go to "My account" and click on it. You will then be re-directed to where you can edit your account by clicking on "Edit" 2. Then, type in your current password which is "password". 3. Below that you will see a box with your current email address. 4. Below that you will see two more boxes. The 1st box says "Password" the 2nd box says "Confirm password". This is where you set your new password. 5. You must go a bit further down the page where you may see a Verification Box if you are a new member. If you are a new member you will need to type in the characters above that box. 6.Then you must click on "Save". Then you will need to exit the page, and then log off. You must log off and then log back on using your new password. You only need to go through this exercise once. After you complete it you are hard wired on to the site. It is all designed to protect your privacy.
How can I edit my account profile after I first logon to the website?
A:

Yes, there is a simple straightforward way to change your password by contacting the site administrator at administrator@oakmonths.org to get a temporary password. We will email you a temporary password which may be used until you physically change it. 

After you receive your temporary password here is what you need to do: 

Log on with your user name or your email address and your temporary password. After you are logged on do the following:

Go over to the right hand column of the page down to where it says ‘USER MENU’.

Click on the first link under that where it saysMY ACCOUNT’.

That will bring up a new screen with a menu. On the top line of that menu, three tabs from the left, there is a tab that says ‘Change Password. Click on that.

That will bring up a ‘POP UP’ box that asks you to type in your current password. After you enter your current password go down to the next area that says 'New Password'.

Enter your ‘NEW PASSWORD’ in both boxes.

Go down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Submit’.

After it completes that cycle log off the site and then log back on with the new password you just entered.

THIS IS IMPORTANT: YOU MUST LOG OFF OF THE SITE COMPLETELY; THEN LOG BACK ON USING YOUR NEW PASSWORD

To edit any of your personal details such as your default email address or password please click on 'My Account' followed by the 'Edit' tab. You can amend your details as necessary and the records in our database will be updated immediately. Any new details will also be emailed through to you for your records.
How do I edit my email address, password, etc.?
A:
Here are a few tips about posting photos on this website. Right now we have three locations were you can upload photos as follows: 1. OHS Photo Gallery. Simply click on that title on the fron page and you should be re-directed to a place where you can upload new photos by clicking on the "Upload New Items" tab. Click on Add files and select the photos you wish to upload from your local folder. We suggest you only upload a few at a time to avoid errors. 2. Random Photos in the right sidebar. click "Random Member Photos" and follow the same procedure as in step one. 3. From "My Profile" on the User Menu in the righ sidebar nder History you should see a link to create a personal album. This is a bit more challenging, but you should be able to do it without too much trouble. Let us know if you run into difficulty and we will be glad to help. Go for it!
How and where may I post photos?
A:

To create a personal blog you must first be logged on to the web site as a subscriber. You will then need to click on the "Create Blog" tab located on the Main Menu at the top of the website home page. Next click on "Create a new blog entry" . Next create a title for your blog. You may give your blog a date (optional). Next type your text in the body of your blog.

Depending on your level of experience you may use filtered html, full html, or plain text in the body of your blog. You may add an image to your blog if you wish. At this time we do not offer the option to target blogs to specific groups. That may change in the future.

We suggest you give it a try. We will take a look at your blog and make editorial suggestions if we think they will improve the quality of your blog. If you want us to edit your blog for you just ask. We will take no editorial action on your blog without first discussing it with you. it is your blog!

Not all subscribers tot the original OHS Alumni website were automatically carried over to the new site. Therefore you may not be enrolled as a current subscriber to this website. If you attempt to log on to this site and are greeted with an error message that your log on credentials are not recognized we suggest you simply log on on as a new subscriber. If that fails your best bet is to email the site administrator at this address: administrator@oakmonths.org and we will assist you.

A:
First and foremost you must be logged on to the website to search for other members/subscribers. Once logged on to the website navigate to the "Subscribers" tab on the Main Menu and click on it. This will bring up a panel of all site subscribers. To find someone on that panel simply type "CTRL" plus "f" and type the person's name in the "find box". You can try first name, or last name, or first & last name, or last known email address. If you do not find the name of the person you are looking for that person is most likely not a current site subscriber.
